How We Help

Live Work Australia provides fee-based services to advise, assist and represent clients through the visa application process. We are registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority in Australia and are bound by a Code of Conduct.  All decisions for granting a visa remain with the Australian Government.  Live Work Australia is not affiliated with the Australian Government and act independently in the interests of our clients.

Live Work Australia provides visa assistance and advice on all aspects of migrating to Australia, including setting up a business in Australia, employing an overseas worker, working in Australia, studying in Australia, sponsoring family members to Australia and lodging other types of Australian visa applications.

Our experienced lawyers can also assist you at the Migration Review Tribunal or Refugee Review Tribunal if your case has been refused by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and you wish to appeal the decision.

We also provide ancillary services and can assist you to set up a bank account, obtain a tax file number and assist you with other services which make your transition to Australia a smooth process.

Our steps:

1. Book a consultation

Live Work Australia provides consultations in person, via telephone, or via Skype.  On booking a consultation you will be emailed an online questionnaire which you have the option to complete before your consultation. This information will be reviewed by a lawyer before your consultation.  During your consultation your circumstances will be discussed and your eligibility for an Australian visa determined. If you decide to move forward and utilise our full application assistance Live Work Australia will deduct the cost of the initial consultation from our professional fees, thereby nullifying your initial consultation fee.

2. Retain our services

If you decide to engage our services to prepare your visa application or to appeal a negative visa decision, Live Work Australia will send you our retainer agreement. It outlines our professional fees, Australian Government charges and a timeline of when payment will fall due. We have an easy online payment system set up for clients.

3. Preparation of case

Live Work Australia will commence working on your case.  We will send you out a document checklist and work with you to gather all the necessary information in support of your visa matter.  We will prepare all forms and legal submissions as required.

4. Application lodgement

Live Work Australia will lodge your application and handle all correspondence with the Department of Immigration or Appeals Tribunal, right up until the time a decision is made on your application.

5. Obtain your visa decision

You will be advised of the decision made on your application and be sent a copy of the related paperwork.  On visa approval Live Work Australia will send you a complimentary copy of a quarterly magazine filled with useful tips for visa holders which will help you hit the ground running when you arrive in Australia.
