Victoria business and investor visa nomination program (subclass 188 and 132) – Update

The Department of Home Affairs has provided the Victorian Government with a limited allocation of visa nomination places for the Business Innovation and Investment Program.

The interim allocation is designed to assist Victoria’s economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

Competition for these places is expected to be high. Applications will close at 5pm AEST on 21 September 2020.

Additional Requirement to the Nomination Criteria

For applicants seeking to be nominated there is an additional requirement which must be met.   Applicants must show that the business and investment activity will contribute to Victoria’s economic recovers or health response.  This criteria must be addressed on the ‘Economic Recovery – Business and Investment Support Form when submitting your application.
